Man Allegedy Stole Township Resident's Birthday Money, Drove His Cars

Court records state that a Bucks County man stole $378 in birthday money and drove a Lower Saucon resident's two cars, according to a report published by the Express-Times.

A man from Upper Bucks County is alleged to have stolen $378 in birthday money from a Lower Saucon Township resident and driven two of his cars, according to court records highlighted in a story published on LehighValleyLive.com.

Matthew Lee Murray, 29, of the 800 block of Church Road, Richland Township, used a hidden key to gain access to the Fire Lane home of Justin Brown, 27, according to the report.

Murray is then alleged to have taken $378 in birthday money given to Brown and driven his cars, including a black Volvo and a white Mustang.

According to records, when he was arrested by Lower Saucon Township police Thursday, Murray admitted driving Brown's cars and taking the money, the article states.

Murray was reportedly arraigned by District Judge David Tidd on Friday, and later released after posting $30,000 bail.
