Man, 88, Arrested on Assault Charge, Police Say
Hellertown Police say Arland V. Kemmerer, of the 400 block of Birch Road, was arrested on charges of simple assault and harassment.
An 88-year-old borough man was arrested on charges of simple assault and harassment after officers were dispatched to a medical call at his home in the 400 block of Birch Road on Aug. 26, Hellertown Police announced in a news release.
Police said Arland V. Kemmerer was arrested on the charges following an investigation.
