Louisiana Man Arrested for DUI

On May 13 at 1:34am police say they stopped Harold Mull, 42, of the 100 block of Carina Circle, Slidell, La., for operating a vehicle without illuminated taillights on Seidersville Road east of Route 378. Police said in a press release that Mull was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested and processed at the Bethlehem DUI Center, where it was determined that his blood alcohol content (BAC) was .12 percent, police added.

Police Investigating Damaged Sign, Theft of Sign

On May 15 at 4:36am police say a road sign at Reservoir and Silver Creek roads was discovered damaged. Several hours later, a "Pedestrian Crossing/Yield" sign was discovered to be missing from the crossing at Meadows Road. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.

Old Telephone Poles Cut Down Along Rail Trail, Police Say

On May 15 at 8:54am police say it was discovered that two old and disconnected telephone poles had been cut down along the , near the Meadows Road crossing. It is unknown why the poles were cut down, police said in a press release. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact township police.

Juvenile Rear-Ended Car at Skibo Road and Creekside Court, Police Say

On May 15 at 2:30pm police say officers responded to a two-car accident at Skibo Road and Creekside Court. There were no injuries, and it was determined that the juvenile operator of one of the two vehicles had become distracted and struck the rear end of a vehicle operated by Emily Scott, of Creekside Court, Lower Saucon Township. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by , police said.

Police Investigating Damaged Garage Door, Missing Scrap Metal

On May 17 police say Joseph Deremer, of the 2500 block of Riverside Drive, reported that his garage door had been damaged by someone who appeared to have gained entry. Nothing was taken from inside the garage, but Deremer also found a broken window and reported that scrap metal was missing from his property, police said. "Deremer is unsure when these offenses occurred--only that he discovered them three weeks prior to May 17, 2012," police said.

Police: Stop Sign Violation Led to Accident at Bingen, Black River Roads

On May 18 at 10:31am police say they responded to a car accident at Bingen and Black River roads. Police said in a press release that the accident occurred when Patricia Graf, of the 5000 block of Mill Road, Upper Saucon Township, proceeded forward to turn left and struck a vehicle turning from Bingen onto Black River. Graf will be cited for a stop sign violation, police said.

Township Men Were Drunk, Fighting, Police Say

On May 19 at 10:30pm police say officers responded to 2168 Riverside Drive for a report of a fight in progress. Police said in a press release that Kyle Cambiotti, of the 2100 block of Riverside Drive, and Dylan J. Pritchard, of the 3800 block of Rt. 378, were "actively involved in a physical altercation" when officers arrived. "Both males had been drinking and were having a dispute which led to the altercation," police added. Both Cambiotti and Pritchard were cited for harassment and released.

Township Man Cited for Riding ATV on Rail Trail

On May 20 at 8:25pm police say Nathan T. Diehl, of the 1700 block of Railroad Lane, was found to be riding an ATV on the near Railroad Lane. Diehl was cited for a violation of the township nuisance ordinance, police said in a press release.

Man Charged With Possessing Small Amount of Marijuana

On May 21 at 12:14am police say they stopped Oris Barner Jr., of the 300 block of South Fourth Street, Bangor, for a traffic violation on Buttermilk Road. "After officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle, Oris admitted to having a small amount of marijuana inside the car," police said in a press release. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, they added.
