Man Arrested After Police Find Package Containing 'White Residue'

On Dec. 4 at about 9:15pm, police say Kevin Felker, 33, of the 1900 block of Sunset Drive, Whitehall, was a passenger in a "suspicious vehicle" that was reported to police in the 1600 block of Pleasant View Drive. Police say that upon investigation, Felker was found to be "in possession of a package containing a small amount of white residue." They added that "the package was consistant (sic) with that used to possess heroin." Felker has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

On Dec. 17 at 3:27am police say Margaret Farannte, 18, of the 2100 block of Riverside Drive, Lower Saucon Township, was stopped on Riverside Drive for allegedly speeding. Police said in a press release that Farannte "was found to have been drinking and under the legal drinking age of 21." After being taken to the Bethlehem DUI Center, police said she was charged with DUI, underage drinking and traffic offenses. Farannte's blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was determined to be .12 percent, they added.

Man Stopped for Careless Driving Charged with DUI

On Dec. 17 at 5:17pm police say Scott Sukanick, 49, of the 600 block of North Randolph Street, Allentown, was stopped at Route 378 and Frederick Street after he was allegedly observed driving carelessly. Police say Sukanick was determined to be under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .18 percent. Sukanick has been charged with DUI, police said.
