Police: Bethlehem Man to Blame for Sept. 29 Accident

A motorist turning left onto Hickory Hill Road from Bingen Road failed to yield to oncoming traffic, causing an accident Sept. 29, police said. According to police, Petr Hartman, of the 1300 block of Crestwood Road, Bethlehem, caused .

Police Seeking Owner of Tripod, Surveyor's Level

Police are seeking the owner of a tripod and surveyor's level found in the New Jerusalem Cemetery on Mount Pleasant Road on the afternoon of Oct. 3. Anyone with information about these items is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.

Woman Allegedly Gives Police Aliases During Traffic Stop

On Oct. 3 at 11:23pm police say DyeAlee Clara De Aza, 19, of the 600 block of West Broad Street, Bethlehem, was a passenger in a car that was stopped on Riverside Drive for traffic violations. When asked for identification, De Aza allegedly twice provided police with aliases, including the names "Jessica Gonzalez" and "Jessica Gonzales." De Aza will receive a summons for False ID to Law Enforcement, police said.

Police: Man, Woman Found with Pot in

On Oct. 5 at 12:25am police say Lorianne Straka, 22, of the 3800 block of Stevens Court, Lower Mount Bethel Township, and Tyler Walia, 21, of the 1200 block of Biafore Avenue, Hanover Township, Northampton County, were found to be in Polk Valley Park after hours. Both were found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and "multiple items of drug paraphernalia," police said.
