The following alleged incidents have been reported by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department:

Police Investigating Theft of Car Parts

According to police, on Sept. 1 more than $1,300 worth of car parts were stolen from 610 Motors, 2162 Riverside Drive, Lower Saucon. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.

Woman, 20, Arrested for DUI on West Point Drive

Early on Sept. 15 police say Caroline Kirk, 20, of the first block of University Drive, Bethlehem, was operating a vehicle on West Point Drive when she crashed into a marked police patrol vehicle. Kirk was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and found to have a blood alcohol concentration of .20 percent, police said. She will receive a summons for DUI, they added.

Police Investigating Theft of Sign from Society Hill Plaza

Sometime between 6pm on Sept. 16 and 3am on Sept. 17 police say an A-frame sign advertising Encore Studios was taken from the entrance to Society Hill Plaza at 1850 Friedensville Road, Lower Saucon. The sign was valued at approximately $200, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.

Police Investigating Theft of Lion Lawn Ornament

Sometime on the evening of Sept. 17 police say a fiberglass lawn ornament was stolen from a home in the 2500 block of Easton Road. The lion was found discarded on Overlook Drive at approximately 9:04am the following day. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.

Scooter Stolen from Strauss Avenue by Blond-Haired Man, Police Say

On Sept. 21 at approximately 7:40am police say a silver Razor scooter was taken from the front porch of a home in the 3500 block of Strauss Avenue. The man who took it was described as white and approximately 20 years old, with blond hair, according to police. The scooter is valued at $30, they said. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.

Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Accident at Rt. 378 Business

Sometime between 12:30pm and 2:45pm on Sept. 21, police say an unidentified vehicle struck the passenger side bumper of a black 2003 Hyundai Elantra parked at Sherwin-Williams, 3627 Rt. 378. The unknown driver of the vehicle fled the scene, police said. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, they added. Anyone with information about this is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.

Man Caused Car Accident on Bingen Road, Police Say

According to police, on Sept. 22 at 8:49am Gavin P. Jones, 19, of the 1900 block of White Acre Drive North, Lower Saucon, pulled onto Bingen Road from White Acre Drive while "failing to observe the oncoming traffic." As a result, Jones struck another vehicle, police said. No injuries were reported but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, they added.
