Police: Drunk Woman 'Blew' Through Stop Sign on Meadows Road

On March 24 at 2:04am police say an officer observed Jessica Lynn Lenehan, 27, of the 5500 block of Route 412, Springfield Township, swerving while driving on Seidersville and Hickory Hill roads. "Lenehan was then timed while she sped down Meadows Road doing 51 (miles per hour) in a 35 mph zone," police said in a press release. Lenehan then allegedly "blew" through a stop sign on Meadows Road near Skibo Road before being stopped, according to police. Lenehan was determined to be intoxicated and was found to have a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .19 percent, police said. She was arrested for DUI, they added.

Police Respond to Car Accident with Injuries on Rt. 378

On March 29 at 2:58pm police say Patricia C. Stettler, of the 3000 block of North Third Street, Whitehall, was attempting to turn left onto Seidersville Road from Route 378 North when her view was obstructed by another vehicle facing south. Police said in a press release that while making the turn, Stettler was struck by the southbound vehicle of Kimberly Ann Miller, of the 500 block of North Eighth Street, Allentown. A passenger in Miller's vehicle complained of neck, back and leg pain and was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital by following the accident, police said. Police were assisted at the scene by and the Se-Wy-Co Fire Police.

Juvenile Charged with Making False Reports to Law Enforcement

On March 30 at 10:44pm police say they responded to a home on Fieldstone Drive, Lower Saucon, after receiving a report of a stabbing/assault. Police said in a press release that they later determined the incident was fabricated by a 15-year-old male juvenile and never happened. Police said charges of False Reports to Law Enforcement have been filed with Northampton County juvenile authorities. 

Bethlehem Man Crashed Car in Woods, Police Say

On March 31 at 7:08am police say Christian Alejandro Santiago, of the 1300 block of East Sixth Street, Bethlehem, failed to stop at the T-intersection of College and South Mountain drives and "launched the vehicle he was operating into the woods." Police said that Santiago, who did not have permission to be operating the vehicle from its owner, subsequently fled the scene. Santiago has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, and other offenses, police said.

Marijuana Cigarette Found in Man's Vehicle, Police Say

On April 1 at 1:30am police say they stopped Michael Justice, of the 100 block of Walnut Street, Freemansburg, "for driving a suspended vehicle as well as driving a vehicle while under suspension." Police said in a press release that Justice was stopped on Black River Road and that an odor of marijuana "was observed emitting from his person" after he was stopped. Subsequently, a marijuana cigarette was located inside Justice's vehicle, and the vehicle was towed, according to police. Justice will be charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, authorities added.
