Man Charged With Possession of Small Amount of Marijuana

On April 16 at 2:19am police say Michael Noonan, of the 500 block of Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem, was stopped on Route 378 south in Lower Saucon Township. Noonan was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia, and will be charged accordingly, police said.

On June 14 at 6:42am, police say Brandon Best, 20, of the 1300 block of Scottie Lane, Lower Saucon, was found in with a small amount of marijuana and a bottle of alcohol in his possession. Best will received summonses for underage drinking and Title 35 violations, police said.

Emmaus Motorist Had BAC of .19 Percent, Police Say

On Oct. 16 at 10am police say Emily Oberg, of the 800 block of Fernwood Street, Emmaus, was stopped for allegedly driving 67mph in a 45mph zone on Route 378 north in Lower Saucon Township. According to police, Oberg showed "signs of impairment" during the stop and was subsequently determined to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .19 percent. Oberg was also found to be in possession of marijuana and a smoking pipe containing unsmoked marijuana, police said. Oberg has been charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, according to a police department press release.

Man Allegedly Operated ATV in Roadway, Fled When Police Approached

On Oct. 16 at 4:33pm police say they were called to the area of Bingen and Spring Valley roads for a report of an ATV in the roadway. Once on the scene, police say they unsuccessfully attempted to stop the driver of the ATV. With help from witnesses, police say they were able to identify the driver as Douglas Lee Delhaven, of the 3200 block of Bingen Road, Lower Saucon Township. Police said Delhaven was taken into custody approximately 20 minutes after they initially pursued him, and that he will be charged with fleeing and eluding.

Police Investigating Theft of Golf Cart from Silver Creek Country Club

On Oct. 17 police say they received a report of a 6-passenger golf cart having been stolen from , 700 Linden Street, Hellertown, sometime between the evening of Friday, Oct. 14 and the morning of Saturday, Oct. 15. The cart is white and bears the name "Club Car" as well as the number "98," police said. Its estimated value is $9,000, they added. Anyone with information regarding its theft is asked to contact Lower Saucon police at 610-317-6110.

Police: Speeding Juvenile Motorist Crashed Car on Applebutter Road

On Oct. 18 at 4:55pm police say they responded to a serious car accident in the 2400 block of Applebutter Road. According to police, a juvenile motorist crashed into a telephone pole, sheering it from its base. Police said the driver, who was behind the wheel of a 1998 Volvo owned by Ester V. Alejandro, of the 2300 block of West Washington Street, Allentown, was transported to St. Luke's Hospital following the accident. A juvenile passenger from New Jersey was also taken to the hospital, they added. The driver of the car that crashed will be cited for careless driving and "Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed," according to a police press release.

Township Man Charged in Alleged 'Road Rage Incident'

On Oct. 19 at 7:38pm police say Matthew Martin, 18, of the 2200 block of Koehler Drive, Lower Saucon Township, was involved in a "road rage incident" at Mountain Drive and Route 378. According to a police department press release, Martin "exited his vehicle (and) then approached the other driver and used numerous obscenities at her." Martin was cited for disorderly conduct, police said.

Police: After Maids Cleaned Colesville Road Home, Earrings Were Gone

On Oct. 21 at 12:08pm police say they were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Colesville Road, where it was reported that "at least 30 pairs of earrings" had gone missing. According to police, the earrings--which were of unknown value--were reported missing after maids from Whitehall cleaned the home. An investigation into the theft is continuing, police said.

Teens to Be Charged with Drug Paraphernalia Possession, Police Say

On Oct. 22 at 12:53am police say four teens from the Center Valley area were found trespassing in South Mountain Park on Mountain Drive. All of the teens, who reside at the same address, will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. The four teens were identified in a police department press release as John Joyic III, 18, of the 2700 block of Station Avenue, Upper Saucon Township; Bruge Peditto, 19; Jacob Ross, 18; and Kevin Warwick, 19.

Police Investigating Burglary on Riverside Drive

On Oct. 25 at 12:34pm police say they received a report of a burglary in the 2100 block of Riverside Drive. According to police, an unknown person or unknown persons entered a garage and took several tools, welders and a power washer. Police say their investigation is continuing, and ask that anyone with information regarding the incident contact them at 610-317-6110.
