Information Sought Regarding July 20 Accident Involving Sports Car

Police say they are attempting to locate possible witnesses to an accident that occurred on Route 378 at Seidersville Road, on July 20 at approximately 11am. According to police, a female in a grey Buick turned in front of a tan Aston Martin, causing the Aston Martin to run up onto a curb. The luxury sports car was damaged as a result of the accident, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Officer Tim Connell at the Lower Saucon Township Police Department by calling 610-317-6110.

Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Accident at Apples Church and Bingen Roads

Police are seeking information about a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that occurred at Apples Church and Bingen roads on July 25 at about 3pm. According to police, a possibly green Honda Civic struck another vehicle after running a stop sign at the intersection. The Civic then fled in the direction of Coopersburg, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-330-2200.

Police Investigating Attempted Theft from Car

On July 30 at about 1:37am police say an unknown individual entered a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Black River Road. "The (person) was scared off by the homeowner before anything was removed from the vehicle," police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.

Numerous Mailboxes Uprooted or Knocked Down, Police Say

During the overnight hours of July 30 and July 31, police say numerous mailboxes along Colesville Road, Merryweather Drive, Quarter Mile Road and Sunderland Drive were either knocked from their posts or pulled out of the ground. A flower pot was also damaged at one of the addresses, police said, adding that officers on patrol discovered the damage at about 3:50am. Anyone with information regarding these acts of criminal mischief is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.
