The following incidents have been reported by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department:

Lower Saucon Man Allegedly Strikes Motorcycle on Rt. 412, Seriously Injuring Rider and Passenger

On July 10 at approximately 11:49am police say Fred Cooper, of the 2200 block of Connolly Avenue, Lower Saucon Township, pulled onto Route 412 from Apples Church Road and struck a motorcycle. Both the rider of the motorcycle and his passenger were seriously injured in the accident, police said. Cooper was cited for careless driving and "duties at a stop sign," according to police.

Theft from Redington Road Address Being Investigated

Police say they are currently investigating a theft from a residence in the 2500 block of Redington Road. According to police, sometime between June 27 and July 18, a brown Load Rite trailer valued at approximately $700 was stolen from the property. The trailer did not have a license plate attached to it, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department at 610-317-6110.

Unknown Person Threw 'Tissue Paper Object,' Police Say

Police are currently investigating a July 23 report of someone throwing objects at passing vehicles in the vicinity of the 4300 block of Lower Saucon Road at approximately 9:30pm. According to police, as a vehicle passed its driver "was struck in the head by (a) tissue paper object, but was subsequently uninjured." Police said officers and a K9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Police Department.

Police Say Lower Saucon Man Smashed Lamps, Liquor Bottles

Police say they have obtained an arrest warrant for Patrick Quinn, 25, of the 2100 block of Riverside Drive, Lower Saucon Township, following an incident that allegedly occurred in the 1800 block of Nancy Lee Court on July 24. According to police, officers were dispatched to an address on Nancy Lee Court at approximately 5:26am, for a report of "an intoxicated man that was smashing things and causing damage." Police say Quinn was subsequently "found at the house, alone and bleeding from the hand." Quinn had smashed lamps, a TV and liquor bottles, and damaged a car, they said, adding that he allegedly caused more than $5,000 in damage. Police did not indicate why Quinn was at the residence.
