Lower Saucon Police Welcome New Part-Time Officer

Kyle Bartholomew was sworn in as a part-time patrolman with the Lower Saucon Township Police Department on Sept. 6, 2012.

A graduate of was sworn in as the Lower Saucon Township Police Department's newest part-time patrolman Sept. 6, it was announced in a press release.

"Kyle Bartholomew earned a Specialized Diploma in Emergency Services Technology from Northampton Community College and completed his Act 120 training at Montgomery County Community College’s Municipal Police Academy," the release said. "Additionally he has completed the International Police Mountain Bike Association’s Police Cyclist Instructor course and is a certified Police Cyclist Instructor."

Bartholomew is a certified EMT and has been an Assistant Captain with the  since 2002.

He has worked as a Certified Security Officer at Dorney Park since 2006 and serves as a rescue team member with Lehigh County EMA.
