'Large Amount of Jewelry' Stolen from Apple Tree Lane Home: Police

Jewelry has been a target of thieves involved in other recent burglaries in Lower Saucon Township.

Lower Saucon Township police say a "large amount of jewelry" and a jewelry box were stolen during a burglary that occurred "sometime during the daytime hours" Monday at a home in the 1800 block of Apple Tree Lane.

In a news release, police said no other items of value were taken from the home.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.

Police reported last month that jewelry and other items were stolen from a home on Caryn Drive in the Four Seasons development.

In November, cash and jewelry were reportedly stolen from a home in the 3900 block of Lower Saucon Road.
