High School Walk-Through Yields Nothing

A disturbing message referencing the date "3-3" was left on a bathroom mirror earlier in the week, so Lower Saucon Township Police searched the building prior to the start of classes as a precaution.

A walk-through of conducted by Lower Saucon police officers and district staff members Thursday morning yielded nothing unusual, police announced late yesterday.

The search of the school was precipitated by the discovery of the word "gun," the date "3-3" and the names of two students scrawled on a boys' bathroom mirror in the school Tuesday. That discovery was announced by the school district via its e-mail alert system and information about the incident was posted on the district's website.

Police say they have reviewed school surveillance video, processed the boys' bathroom for evidence and interviewed several students in an effort to identify the individual or individuals responsible for the disturbing writing.
