Woman Arrested for Alleged Heroin Possession Following Traffic Stop

On Aug. 13 at 4:15am police say they stopped Nicole L. Goeppert, 20, of the 6300 block of Woodfern Drive, Upper Saucon Township, at Northampton Street and Detweiler Avenue. Police said that during an investigation Goeppert was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, for which she was arrested.

Man Arrested for Alleged DUI on Main Street

On Aug. 19 at 12:55am police say they stopped David J. Peffer, 51, of the 400 block of Birch Road, Hellertown, for a traffic violation on Main Street. Police said in a press release that Peffer was subsequently arrested for DUI. His blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was determined to be .19 percent, according to police.

Man Spray Painted Car and Struck It With Bat, Police Say

On Aug. 30 at 12:10am police say they responded to the 700 block of Front Street for a report of criminal mischief to a car. In a press release, police said they found that a vehicle parked on the street had been "spray painted with a black substance and struck several times with a bat." Following an investigation, police say they identified Alec D. Noctor, 18, of the 300 block of Cedar Road, Hellertown, as the alleged perpetrator. Noctor is being charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, they said.
