Man Arrested on Marijuana Charge After Police Respond to Domestic Incident

On Sept. 17 at 9:52pm police say officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Magnolia Road for a report of a domestic incident in progress. In a press release police said that officers at the scene "were advised that Brian Paulich had marijuana inside (his) residence." Police said Paulich, 38, was ultimately charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation.

Man Allegedly Stole Steel Pipe from Main Street

On Sept. 24 police say it was reported that a stainless steel pipe was stolen from the 1300 block of Whitaker Street. Police said that as a result of an investigation, it was determined that Andy W. Duprey Jr., 27, of the first block of Bachman Street, Hellertown, "had stolen pipe from a business in the 1300 block of Main Street to be turned in for U.S. currency at another business." Duprey was arrested on charges of theft and receiving stolen property and arraigned before District Judge David Tidd, who set bail at $2,500 unsecured.

Mountain Bike Stolen from West Thomas Avenue, Police Say

On Sept. 24 at 2:35pm police say it was reported that a dark blue Schwinn mountain bike valued at approximately $225 was stolen from a residence on West Thomas Avenue. Police added that the bicycle was stolen sometime between Sept. 21 and Sept. 22. Anyone with information about the missing bike is asked to contact Hellertown Police at 610-838-7040.

Police Allegedly Find Marijuana After Woman Asks Them to Check Her Home for Meth-Related Substances

On Sept. 28 at 7:05pm police say Kristina Fenstermaker, 31, of the 1100 block of Main Street, requested that officers check her residence for "suspected substances used in the manufacturing of methamphetamines." Police said that no meth-related substances were found, but "police observed and seized marijuana inside the residence." Fenstermaker was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to a police department press release.
