Man Arrested for DUI on Easton Road

On Dec. 18 at 12:51am police say they stopped Frederick S. Bracalente, 63, of the 2200 block of Williams Church Road, Lower Saucon Township, for alleged traffic offenses on Easton Road. According to a police department press release, a subsequent investigation led officers to determine that Bracalente was under the influence of alcohol. Following testing at the Bethlehem DUI Center, Bracalente was determined to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .12 percent, police said. He has been charged with DUI, they added.

Woman Charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On Jan. 1 at 2:49am police say they responded to a domestic dispute at an apartment in the 1100 block of Main Street. In a press release, authorities said that drug paraphernalia "was observed in plain view" in a bedroom after they responded to the apartment. Police said that Kristina Fenstermaker, 30, of 1168 Main St., Apt. 6, Hellertown, was subsequently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia under Title 35.

Police: Fountain Hill Man Possessed Four Bags of Suspected Marijuana

On Jan. 2 at 10:48pm police say they stopped Derek S. Dymek, 24, of the 900 block of Delaware Ave., Fountain Hill, for an alleged vehicle equipment violation on Main Street. Police said in a press release that during the stop an officer "detected a strong odor consistent with marijuana." Dymek's vehicle was subsequently impounded and secured, and a search warrant was obtained in order to search it, police said. Upon searching the vehicle, police say they discovered four bags of suspected marijuana and a smoking pipe, which were seized. Dymek has been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
