Borough Man Charged With Simple Assault, Harassment

On Jan. 6 at 3:23pm police say they responded to a domestic disturbance at 937 Easton Road. Police say they arrested Jared M. Hall, 28, of that address, following an alleged altercation that involved his girlfriend. Hall was charged with simple assault and harassment under the Domestic Violence Law, and was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora before being released on $5,000 unsecured bail, police said.

Clauser Street Residents 'Engaged in a Physical Confrontation,' Police Say

On Jan. 10 at 10:59am police say they responded to a domestic disturbance at 1555 Clauser Street. Following an investigation, it was determined that two residents of that address--identified as Eric Robert Sarko, 19, and Steven John Sarko, 20--had "engaged in a physical confrontation," police said in a press release. Both Sarkos were charged with simple assault and harassment and arraigned in district court, before being committed to Northampton County Prison under $10,000 bail each, according to authorities.

Police Investigating Keying of Car on Durham Street

On Jan. 11 police say they received a report of criminal mischief to a car in the 100 block of Durham Street. Police said the car was keyed on Jan. 10 at about 7pm, resulting in approximately $1,200 in damage. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the at 610-838-7040.
