Man Arrested for DUI on West Water Street
On Nov. 8 at 4:27pm police say officers were investigating a report of a suspicious person on West Water Street when they witnessed Robert J. Holowka, 59, of the first block of West Saucon Street, Hellertown, operating a vehicle in that area. Police said in a press release that Holowka was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI, following an investigation. Holowka's blood alcohol content (BAC) was determined to be .26 percent and he has been charged with DUI, police said.

On Nov. 20 at 10:38pm police say Martin Samuel Barnes, of the 200 block of South 13th Street, Easton, and Myles Carter Hightower, of the first block of Woodside Drive, Easton, were stopped in the 1500 block of Main Street for an expired registration plate on their vehicle. In a press release police said a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were subsequently found in the vehicle. Both men have been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police added.
