Woman Left Crossroads Hotel Without Paying, Police Say

On Nov. 26 at about 7:30pm police say officers were called to Matey's Crossroads Hotel for a report of a theft. Police said that information provided by employees helped them to identify Lindsey Lee Fluck, of the 500 block of Vine Street, Perkasie, as the "suspect who ran out the restaurant without paying the check." In a press release, police said Fluck had presented her driver's license to an employee while she was in the restaurant's bar area. She will receive a citation for theft of services, they added.

Police Investigating Theft of Propane Tank

On Nov. 27 police say they were called to Saucon Valley Meats to investigate the theft of a propane tank from the rear of the business. Police said in a press release that the theft occurred sometime between Nov. 25 at 7:30pm and Nov. 27 at 12:47pm. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Hellertown Police at 610-838-7040.

Generator Reported Stolen from 100 Block of Northampton Street

On Nov. 28, shortly after 9am, police say officers responded to the 100 block of Northampton Street for a report of a stolen generator. In a press release police said the generator was stolen from a front driveway, where footprints and tire tracks were also observed. Police said the tracks led north to Spruce Street, where they ended. The theft of the black Generac GN-570 generator is reported to have occurred sometime between 6:30 and 10pm Nov. 27. Anyone with information about the generator--which has a missing engine cover--is asked to call the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.
