Police: Man to Be Cited for Disorderly Conduct After Setting Off Fireworks

On Aug. 4 at 6:09am police say officers responded to the area of Cherry Lane and Burkhardt Street for a report of "possible shots fired." Police said in a press release that "upon arrival and after further investigation it was learned that (David Seip) was shooting off firecrackers." Police said Seip, 21, of the 1600 block of Burkhardt Street, would receive a citation for disorderly conduct in the mail.

Deer Lawn Ornament Stolen on Main Street, Police Say

On Aug. 4 police say they investigated the theft of a deer lawn ornament from a property in the 1300 block of Main Street. Police said the ornament was reported missing at approximately 8:06pm. Anyone with information about its theft is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.

Police Investigating Burglary in 1500 Block of Main Street

On Aug. 7 at 12:13pm police say officers responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Main Street that had been burglarized. Police said in a press release that cash had been taken from the home. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact borough police.
