The following alleged incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

Woman Allegedly Had Forged Inspection Sticker on Vehicle

On June 29 police stopped a vehicle owned by Lisa Anne Hess, 41, of the 2700 block of Kuter Road, Bath, at approximately 7:11pm. According to police, the inspection sticker on the vehicle was forged and Hess was subsequently arrested on a charge of Altered or Forged Documents. A search that followed "yielded a controlled substance in her possession" and Hess was arraigned and released on $2,000 unsecured bail, police said. Police did not say where in Hellertown Hess was stopped.

Police Investigating Removal of Tailgate from Truck

Hellertown police are currently investigating the removal of a tailgate from a GMC pickup truck at , 1570 Main Street. According to police, the theft of the tailgate occurred July 2 between 8:10 and 8:20am. Police Investigating Criminal Mischief at Hellertown Pool

Police are currently investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred at the Hellertown Pool, 575 Durham St., on July 1 or July 2. According to police, someone or a group of people entered the pool area sometime after 5:30pm on July 1 and "threw four ceramic (garbage) can tops in the pool." Police said one of the can tops was chipped and damaged as a result of the mischief. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.

Police Investigating Damage to Car Parked on Oak Street

According to police, a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Oak Street was damaged sometime after it was parked on the street at 11pm July 1. On July 2 at 1:50pm, the owner of the vehicle reported that an unknown object had been thrown at his car, causing damage to its hood and windshield area. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.

Hit-and-Run Accident Reported at Harris and Weidner

On July 2 at approximately 3:39pm, police say a hit and run accident involving a car and a bike occurred on Harris Street at Weidner Street. According to police, a northbound vehicle on Harris was struck by a juvenile male on a bike. "The juvenile male was said to have got back on his bike and left the area," police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.

Parked Car Damaged on Penn Street, Police Say

On July 3 at approximately 8:37am police received a report of a hit-and-run accident in the unit block of Penn Street. According to police, a vehicle parked on the street was struck by another vehicle that is believed to be white. The hit-and-run occurred sometime after 6:30pm on July 2, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.

Police Investigating Damage to Jeep on Diamond Street

Police are currently investigating damage to a Jeep in the 1400 block of Diamond Street. According to police, the damage occurred when a 2011 Jeep Compass was reportedly struck by a brick sometime between 11pm on July 1 and 7am on July 2. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.
