The following alleged incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

Driver Allegedly Had Blood Alcohol Concentration of .18 Percent

On Sept. 24 at 2:04am police say a red Chevrolet station wagon was observed traveling south on Main Street "at a high rate of speed." Police say they followed the vehicle to the 7-Eleven parking lot in the 1000 block of Main, where they approached the vehicle's driver, Donna Roccosanto, 41, of the 2400 block of Nottingham Road, Bethlehem. According to police, Roccosanto failed field sobriety tests after she "was observed to have glassy eyes and emitting an odor of alcohol." Roccosanto's blood alcohol concentration was determined to be .18 percent and she was arrested for DUI, police said.

Police: Man, Juvenile Parked Behind Closed Business, Had Marijuana

On Sept. 24 at 8:16pm police say Matthew Dunn, 18, of the 200 block of Saddle Drive, Lower Nazareth Township, was found to be in possession of marijuana near 3 Main St., Hellertown. According to police, Dunn and a male juvenile were discovered in a vehicle that was parked behind a closed business in a darkened area. Both Dunn and the juvenile were found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia, police said.

Woman Arrested for DUI Was Also Wanted by Sheriff's Department, Police Say

On Oct. 1 at 2:33am police say they arrested Audrey Jennifer Andrews, 22, of the first block of East Saucon Street, Hellertown, for DUI and having an active warrant from the Northampton County Sheriff's Department. Andrews was arrested near Main Street and Magnolia Road following a traffic stop, police said.

Couple Stole Car Stereo, Speakers, Police Say

On Oct. 5 at 6:46pm police stopped Gregory Scott Panuccio and Carolyn Louise Dolan, both of the 2000 block of Sullivan Trail, Forks Township, after they allegedly matched the description of individuals suspected of several retail thefts. After Panuccio and Dolan were stopped at Main Street and Cherry Lane, police say a stolen car stereo and speakers were recovered, along with forged/altered inspection and registration documentation. The couple were stopped in a black Ford Explorer and several vehicle violations were also discovered, police said. Panuccio was subsequently arraigned and committed to Northampton County Prison on $15,000 bail and Dolan was arraigned and committed to Northampton County Prison on $6,000 bail, according to police.

Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Accident That Damaged Picket Fence

On Oct. 7 at 10:06am police began investigating an accident that damaged a wooden picket fence in the area of Main and Walnut streets. According to police, the fence was damaged sometime between Oct. 5 and Oct. 7 when a vehicle turning from Walnut onto Main struck it. Damage to the fence was estimated at $50. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.

Police Investigating Theft of Jeep Axles from Strauss Street

On Oct. 7 police began investigating the theft of two Jeep axles from the rear of a home in the 100 block of Northampton Street, adjacent to Strauss Street. According to police, the axles went missing two to three weeks before their theft was reported. Both axles were marked 3.31 with a yellow paint pen, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.
