Woman Cited for Disorderly Conduct After Allegedly Refusing to Comply with Officers' Orders

On June 14 at approximately 10:36am police cited Janet Drysdale Boue, 53, of Creek Road, Hellertown, after she allegedly refused to listen to officers as they attempted to assist her with her broken-down vehicle at Water and Main streets. According to a police department press release, officers responded to the intersection to investigate an unattended vehicle. The vehicle, police said, turned out to be a 2000 Chevy pickup that had run out of fuel, and officers called for a tow truck so it could be moved out of the road. When Boue--the operator of the vehicle--returned to it with a gas can full of fuel, "officers attempted to assist her and requested she get into her vehicle to ensure safety, as she came close to being struck several times," police said in the release. Boue allegedly refused to listen, complained of abdominal pain and eventually had to be escorted out of the road after police warned her to move to the sidewalk or sit in her vehicle. At that point, police said, "(Boue) became violent and pushed and shoved officers, creating a hazardous condition." Boue was arrested and will be cited for disorderly conduct, according to police. Following the incident, she was taken to a local hospital for her abdominal issue, police said.

Man Cited for Alleged Marijuana Possession

On June 15 police arrested Alex James Wolf, 20, of Wolf Pack Run, Hellertown, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to police, Wolf was stopped at approximately 5:46am for an alleged traffic violation on Main Street. "During the stop investigation, a small amount of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe were located in (Wolf's) vehicle," police said.

Woman Cited for Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct

On June 19 police cited Kelly Lynn Braun, of West Saucon Street, Hellertown, for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Front Street. According to police, at approximately 4am an officer on routine patrol observed an adult woman sitting on the sidewalk, slumped over, in the 500 block of Front Street. This woman was identified as Braun, police said in a press release, and after she "was found to be incoherent...(she) became verbally abusive and combative with police." After Braun was taken into custody she was transported by Dewey EMS to St. Luke's Hospital for evaluation, police added.
