The following alleged incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

Man Charged with Underage Drinking, DAI

On Aug. 8 police say Brandon Frank Marzigliano, 19, of the 5200 block of Cheryl Drive, Hanover Township, Northampton County, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Furnace Street at approximately 1:10am. Marzigliano was subsequently taken to the Bethlehem DUI Center where chemical testing revealed a blood alcohol concentration of .13 percent, police said. Marzigliano has been charged with DAI and underage drinking, police added.

Underage Drinking Party Busted on First Avenue, Police Say

On Aug. 9 at approximately 12:50am police say they were dispatched to what turned out to be an underage drinking party at 1325 First Avenue. Twelve minors were arrested and charged with underage drinking, and homeowner Jeffrey Gall was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors, police said.

Traffic Stop for License Check Leads to DUI Arrest

On Aug. 11 at 2:16am police say motorcyclist Joseph Amato, of the 400 block of West Wilkes Barre Street, Easton, was stopped at Main Street and Cherry Lane so police could "check his driver's license for proof of endorsement for that class of vehicle." Police say it was discovered that Amato did not possess a valid permit or endorsement for operating a motorcycle, and that he subsequently failed field sobriety tests that were administered when an odor of alcohol was detected on him. Amato was arrested, taken to the Bethlehem DUI Center and determined to have a blood alcohol concentration of .11 percent, police said.

Woman Arrested on Outstanding State Police Warrant

On Aug. 21 at 1:39pm police say Doralee Torres, 42, of the 500 block of Garfield Street, Edwardsville, Pa., was stopped for an alleged traffic violation in the 1700 block of Main Street. Torres was subsequently found to be the subject of an active warrant for theft by deception issued by the Pennsylvania State Police at Fern Ridge, according to Hellertown police. After being taken into custody, Torres was arraigned before District Justice Todd Strohe and committed to Northampton County Prison under $5,000 bail.
