The following incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

Police Investigating Delaware Avenue Burglary

Police say that between 5pm on July 27 and 8:41am on July 28 a home in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue was broken into. Police did not say what was stolen in a press release about the burglary. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.

Police Investigating Damage to Vehicle on Walnut Street

Between 5pm on July 27 and 12:18pm on July 28 police say someone broke a mirror off a 2009 Pontiac G6 that was parked in the 500 block of Walnut Street. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department.

Baby Stroller Stolen from Car Parked on New Street, Police Say

Hellertown police say they are investigating the theft of a Babytrend baby stroller from a car parked in the 100 block of New Street. According to police, the stroller was removed from the vehicle sometime between 6pm on July 27 and noon on July 29. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact borough police at 610-759-2200.

Eight Juveniles Cited for Loitering on Main Street

On July 30 police say they cited eight juveniles for loitering in a parking lot at 782 Main Street, after receiving a call to investigate a loitering complaint at 7:02pm. The juveniles were cited with a borough ordinance violation and their parents were notified, police said.

Bethlehem Man Provided False Identification, Police Say

On July 30 at 7:16pm police say officers responded to a disturbance in the area of 35 E. Saucon St. "The dispute was in reference to an incident that is under investigation by (the) Bethlehem Police Department," borough police said. According to Hellertown police, a man who was present at the dispute identified himself as Frank Jones, but was later identified as Fred Smith Jr., 58, of the 700 block of East Fourth Street, Bethlehem. Smith has been charged with False ID to Law Enforcement, police said.

Police Investigating Slashed Tires on Silver Place

On Aug. 2 at 7:14am police say they began investigating the slashing of three tires on a vehicle that was parked in the unit block of Silver Place. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hellertown Police Department at 610-838-7040.

Juvenile Arrested for Marijuana Possession

On Aug. 6 at 12:24am police say they stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of Main Street for an equipment violation. A consent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of marijuana, paraphernalia and "other controlled substances," police said. A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested following the search and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
