The following alleged incidents have been reported by the Hellertown Police Department:

Man Possessed Forged Driver's License, Police Say

On Aug. 22 at 1:28am police say David E. Krause, 48, of the first block of Durham Street, Hellertown, was stopped for a summary traffic violation on Durham Street. A subsequent investigation led police to believe Krause possessed a forged driver's license, according to a press release. Krause has been charged with forgery, tampering with records or identification, tampering with public records or information, false ID to law enforcement, driving under suspension-DUI related, and other charges.

Man Drove Drunk with Children in Car, Police Say

On Sept. 4 at 12:57am police say Michael Hartman, 46, of the 1600 block of Woodfield Drive, Lower Saucon, was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint at 69 Main Street. According to police, Hartman was subsequently determined to be driving under the influence with two juveniles in the rear seat of his vehicle. Hartman's blood alcohol concentration was found to be .14 percent, police added. Hartman has been charged with DUI and endangering the welfare of a child.

Easton Woman Arrested for DUI in 1700 Block of Main Street

On Sept. 16 at 11:21pm police say Jennifer Glovas, 36, of the 600 block of Canal Street, Easton, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 1700 block of Main Street. Police say that further investigation determined that Glovas was driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol concentration of .16 percent.

Woman Charged with Possessing Altered or Forged Documents

On Sept. 22 at 6:30pm police say Nicole Thompson, 26, of the 1400 block of Bristol Pike, Morrisville, Bucks County, was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of 1050 Main Street. Police say Thompson was subsequently arrested and charged with possessing altered/forged documents, before being arraigned at central booking and released on bail.

Police Investigating Theft from Car on Northampton Street

Police say they are currently investigating a motor vehicle break-in that occurred in the 700 block of Northampton Street on Sept. 25. Taken from the car were a GPS unit, money and CDs, police said. Owing to heavy rain that occurred around the time of the break-in, the vehicle itself "sustained water damage" as a result of the theft, police added.
