Gun-Related Incident Reported on Pleasant View Road

Residents of Lower Saucon Township's Pleasant View Road neighborhood were reportedly told to lock their doors this morning, after a man with a gun was reported in the area.

Residents of the 1600 block of Pleasant View Road--which is near Bingen in Lower Saucon Township--were apparently told by police to lock their doors late this morning, after a man with a gun was reported to be in the area, according to an Express-Times story.

As of early afternoon details surrounding the alleged incident were sketchy, but the paper reported that residents were first alerted to possible danger at about 11am.

They were reportedly given an "all-clear" at about 1pm, with police still diverting traffic in the area as of about 12:45pm.

Township police were not answering questions at the scene, and a call to Lower Saucon Township Police Chief Guy Lesser was not immediately returned, the story added.
