GPS Unit Stolen from Minivan Stuck in Snow, Police Say

A Garmin GPS unit was stolen from a minivan that was stuck in the snow at a school bus stop on Redington Road Monday morning, Lower Saucon Township police said Tuesday.

To add insult to injury, a Garmin GPS unit was stolen from a minivan that was stuck in the snow at a school bus stop on Redington Road Monday morning, Lower Saucon Township police said Tuesday in a news release.

According to police, the unit was taken while its owner left to get help.

Police said the woman walked home from the bus stop, returned with help, freed the minivan and then discovered that the GPS unit was missing.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen someone enter a green Mercury Villager at the bus stop at around 8 a.m. Monday to call them at 610-317-6110.
