Fridge Stolen From L. Saucon Driveway

Lower Saucon Township Police say a refrigerator was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.

Lower Saucon Township Police say they're investigating the theft of a refrigerator from a driveway in the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.

Police said the appliance was identified by its owner as a "good used refrigerator."

It was reportedly taken from his driveway on June 3, after a man stopped by to ask if he could take it away for scrap.

Police said the fridge's owner "chased (the man) away" before leaving, only to return to find the refrigerator gone.

The man who was chased away "is the current suspect" in the theft, police said.

He is described as being white, in his 60s, and with grey hair. He was last seen driving a blue 1978-1980 Chevy pickup truck, according to a police news release.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Lower Saucon Township Police at 610-317-6110.
