E. Saucon Street Woman Resisted Arrest, Police Say

Hellertown Police say April Levy, of the first block of E. Saucon Street, was 'highly intoxicated' when she allegedly resisted arrest, after officers were called to her home.

A Hellertown woman was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, after police said officers were called to her home for a "domestic incident."

In a news release, police said April Levy, 32, of the first block of E. Saucon Street, was "highly intoxicated" when officers responded to her home on the evening of Sept. 6.

Police said in the release that the alleged incident involved another party who was also intoxicated, and continued outside to the front yard of the apartment complex where Levy lives.

"Hellertown Police attempted to detain (Levy)...and while doing so she resisted officers," police said.
