DUI, Drug Arrests Made in Hellertown

Police nab one suspect for DUI; another for marijuana possession

The following incidents occurred in the borough of Hellertown during the first half of November. The information in this blotter was provided by the Hellertown Police Department.

Nov. 6 – At 12:31am borough police stopped a vehicle operated by David Temple, 38, of 1505 Kennington Lane, Macungie, for an alleged traffic violation at Main Street and Kichline Avenue. After an investigation, Temple was subsequently arrested for DUI. According to police, Temple was determined to have a blood alcohol content of .11 percent and has been charged with DUI.

Nov. 15 – At 4:39pm police stopped a vehicle operated by Michael Kuder, 20, of 1702 Budd Ave., Bethlehem, for an alleged traffic violation at Harwi and Water streets. According to police, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were subsequently found in Kuder's vehicle. Kuder was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance, police said.
