Lower Saucon Township Police say another driver, William Antol, 56, of the 500 block of Siegfried Street, Bethlehem, will be cited as a result of a Sept. 3 accident at Flint Hill and Leithsville roads.

In an effort to avoid a collision with another vehicle, a 39-year-old Springfield Township man braked, swerved and crashed into a telephone pole at the intersection of Flint Hill and Leithsville roads, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release.

According to police, the Springfield man was trying to avoid hitting a car driven by William Antol, 56, of the 500 block of Siegfried Street, Bethlehem, when the crash happened Sept. 3 at about 8:43 a.m.

Antol had pulled onto Leithsville Road (Route 412) from Flint Hill Road and "did not have the right of way," police said.
