Driver Slid Through Intersection, Struck Other Car, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say John T. Brogle, of the 4000 block of Huckleberry Drive, Center Valley, caused an accident when he allegedly drove through a stop sign at the intersection of Bingen and Saucon Valley roads.

Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release that John T. Brogle, of the 4000 block of Huckleberry Drive, Center Valley, caused an accident when he allegedly drove through a stop sign at the intersection of Bingen and Saucon Valley roads.

Police said Brogle "attempted to stop on Saucon Valley Road at Bingen Road and slid through the intersection," striking a car operated by a Kintnersville man.

There were no injuries as a result of the Oct. 5 accident, according to police.

Brogle was charged with a stop sign violation, authorities added.
