Driver Lost Control of Car, Struck Tree, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say Luis A. Guerriero, 56, of the township, will be cited for driving too fast for conditions as a result of an accident on Lower Saucon Road.

A Lower Saucon Township man will be cited for driving too fast for conditions, as a result of an accident that occurred on Lower Saucon Road, township police announced in a news release.

According to police, Luis A. Guerriero, 56, of the 2000 block of Polk Valley Road, lost control of his vehicle north of Crestline Drive.

Police say Guerriero's 2002 Subaru Outback struck a tree before coming to rest on an embankment.

The car "sustained disabling damage" and Guerriero was injured, they added.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:27 a.m. April 30, according to authorities.
