Driver Looking at GPS Ran Red Light, Police Say
Lower Saucon Township Police say Jeffrey Guerriero of New Providence, N.J. had taken his eyes off the road to look at a GPS device when he ran a red light at Route 378 and Seidersville Road and struck another vehicle.
A motorist who took his eyes off the road to look at a GPS device ran a red light as a result, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a press release.
Police said Jeffrey Guerriero, of the first block of Brook Road, New Providence, N.J., was southbound on Route 378 on March 8 at 11:17am when he looked at the GPS as he was approaching the intersection with Seidersville Road.
Police said Guerriero struck a vehicle operated by Aaron Voyden, of the 1700 block of South Fourth Street, Allentown, as he traveled through the intersection.

Voyden was eastbound on Seidersville Road at the time, police added.
Guerriero was issued a citation for "Traffic Control Signals," according to authorities.
