District: Message Found in School Referenced 'Gun' and 'March 3'

The district says the date "3-3" and the word "gun" were found written on a mirror in a high school boys bathroom.

The and Lower Saucon Township Police are seeking information from the public in the wake of a disturbing incident which was reported at today.

According to an alert issued by the district and posted on its website, on Tuesday afternoon, March 1, the date "3-3" and the word "gun" were found written on a mirror in a high school boy's bathroom.

"The police were called, the administration is watching...video tapes, and students will be questioned," the district stated in its alert.

The district and law enforcement officials plan to conduct a security sweep of the school prior to its opening on March 3 and will be on higher alert that day, it added.

Staff have also been instructed to remain vigilent and to report anything out of the ordinary, and anyone with information regarding the incident is being asked to speak with either Saucon Valley school administrators or local law enforcement officials.
