Copper Pipe Reported Stolen from Home's Basement

Lower Saucon Township Police say a homeowner in the 1800 block of Reading Drive recently discovered copper pipe valued at about $100 stolen from his basement ceiling.

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating the theft of 40 feet of one-inch copper pipe from the basement of a home in the 1800 block of Reading Drive.

In a news release, police said the homeowner whose basement was burgled reported the theft on the morning of May 2.

Police said the copper pipe, which weighs 40-50 pounds, is valued at approximately $100.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime within the past six months, authorities added.
