Children's Playset Stolen from Driveway

Lower Saucon Township Police are hoping to identify a man suspected of stealing a boxed children's playset from a driveway in the 3600 block of Fire Lane.

Lower Saucon Township Police say a boxed children's playset was stolen from a driveway in the 3600 block of Fire Lane Monday.

In a news release, police said the playset was dropped off and left in front of the home's garage by a relative while the homeowner was away on vacation.

The playset consists of two swings, a hanging bar and a slide.

Early Monday evening, while the homeowner was still away, police said "neighbors reported seeing a large white pickup truck back into the driveway."

The man who got out of the truck was observed loading the playset into it and was described as a white male—possibly in his forties—with tattoos on his arm.

The man may be balding and was wearing a red baseball cap backwards when he was last seen traveling east on Black River Road, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Lower Saucon Township Police at 610-317-6110.
