Car Stolen in Township Recovered in Schuylkill County

Lower Saucon Township Police say a vehicle stolen from behind Feasta Pizza was later recovered in Schuylkill County.

A car that was stolen from behind a popular Italian eatery was later recovered a long way from Lower Saucon Township, police said in a press release Tuesday.

According to , the car owned by Sean Torman, of the 3800 block of Timothy Lane, Bethlehem Township, was taken from behind on June 21.

Police said Torman left the car parked with its windows down and the keys in the center console.

"Upon exiting the building, he found his vehicle to be missing and immediately reported (it) to police," the press release said.

Police said Torman's car was then entered as a stolen vehicle in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

At about 6:30pm June 21, Pennsylvania State Police in Schuylkill Haven identified the car, recovered it, and took two people into custody for the auto theft.

Township police identifed the two who were arrested as Darrin Schneck, of the 100 block of Swopes Valley Road, Pine Grove, Pa., and Grace Kusma, of the first block of Fairview Street, West Wyoming, Pa.

Pine Grove is located in Schuylkill County and West Wyoming is located in Luzerne County.

Police said both Schneck and Kusma are currently being held in Schuylkill County Prison.

They did not explain why they may have been in Lower Saucon Township.
