Car's Occupants Had Heroin Syringes, Police Say

Hellertown Police say a Dec. 12 traffic stop on West Clarke Street led to their discovery of heroin syringes in the possession of two area residents.

On Dec. 12 Hellertown Police say a West Clarke Street traffic stop led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

In a press release police said Raqim El Custine Watson, 30, of the 1200 block of Oak Lane, Haycock Township, Bucks County, and Kenia Leis Young, 24, of the 3200 block of Rim Road, Bethlehem Township, Pa., were passengers in a vehicle that was stopped for "multiple violations" at 12:38pm.

Police said Watson and Young "were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, namely, syringes used for heroin."

Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia will be filed in district court, police said.
