Boy Allegedly Trespasses on Train Tracks

Lower Saucon Township Police say a boy was cited for trespassing for allegedly being on Norfolk Southern property in the 2000 block of Riverside Drive.

Lower Saucon Township Police issued a reminder to local residents in a news release about a recent citation for trespassing: stay off railroad property.

In the release, police said a boy was cited for trespassing the evening of May 7, after he was allegedly observed picking up railroad bolts and spikes from along the train tracks in the 2000 block of Riverside Drive.

That is in the Steel City section of the township.

The tracks are Norfolk Southern property, and the metal pieces were returned to the Norfolk Southern Corporation, police said.
