Borough Man Arrested in Police Prostitution Sting

Colonial Regional Police say Ronald J. Cantwell, of West Saucon Street, Hellertown, was one of five men arrested Feb. 21.

A Hellertown man was one of five men arrested in a police-orchestrated prostitution sting at a "cooperating Hanover Township, Northampton County hotel," according to a press release issued Wednesday by Colonial Regional Police.

Police say Ronald J. Cantwell, 48, of the first block of West Saucon Street, was arrested between 4pm and 10pm Feb. 21, along with four other Pennsylvania men, including Matthew J. Groller, 36, of the 1500 block of Laubach Avenue, Northampton; Ryan G. Abdouche, 24, of the 600 block of Hanover Avenue, Allentown; and Marc A. Capozzolo, 27, of the 300 block of North 40th Street, South Whitehall Township.

"All agreed with an undercover police officer to sex acts for the prices ranging from $80 to $200," the press release said.

Cantwell and the other men will receive summonses from the office of District Judge James Narlesky, police said.

Police did not identify the hotel where the operation took place in their press release.
