Bethlehem Man Charged in Lower Saucon Burglaries

Police accuse Raul Pacheco of break-ins that took place from May through August.

A Bethlehem man already being held in prison on a number of charges was arraigned Oct. 26 for allegedly committing multiple thefts and burglaries in Bethlehem, Fountain Hill and Lower Saucon Township, police said.

The re-arrest of Raul Pacheco, 53, of 1535 E. Ninth St., was the result of a joint investigation among the police departments in the three affected municipalities, according to a city police news release.

The investigation involved a string of brazen daylight burglaries, which took place from May through August, police said.
