Allentown Man Arrested in Hellertown on Drugs, Weapons Charges

Police say Jeffrey Holzheimer was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a switchblade.

Hellertown police say a traffic stop Monday night led to the arrest of an Allentown man on drug and weapons charges.

Police said Jeffrey Holzheimer, of 141 E. South St., was stopped for an equipment violation on Water Street around 10:30pm. According to court papers, the officer who stopped him saw that Holzheimer was holding a small amount of marijuana and a subsequent search led to the discovery of a switchblade in his possession.

Holzheimer was arraigned before District Judge Gay Elwell in Easton and is free on bail.
