Alleged White Strips Thief Arrested After Hitting Giant Again, Police Say

Jeffrey Taddei, of the 3300 block of Greenwood Drive, Springtown, and Sean Boyer, of the 100 block of Traugers Crossing Road, Kintnersville, have been arrested in connection with a theft that occurred at the Lower Saucon Giant Nov. 8, police say.

A man wanted by Lower Saucon Township police for allegedly stealing more than $1,240 worth of Crest tooth whitening strips and razor blades from the Giant Food Store on Leithsville Road last month was captured after he allegedly shoplifted the same items from the same store several days later, police said in a news release issued Monday.

According to police, Jeffrey Taddei, of the 3300 block of Greenwood Drive, Springtown, was a passenger in a car that was stopped on Leithsville Road Nov. 14.

At that time, police said he was found to be in possession of several boxes of Crest white strips and razor blades that had just been shoplifted from the Giant.

The car was driven by Danielle Elias, of the first block of School Drive, Kintnersville, who along with Taddei was arrested for retail theft, police said.

Another man photographed by store surveillance who was also wanted in the Nov. 8 theft from Giant has also been arrested and charged with retail theft, police said in a separate news release.

According to police, Sean Boyer, of the 100 block of Traugers Crossing Road, Kintnersville, was served with an arrest warrant at his home.

Police said Boyer and Taddei are now being looked at in connection with at least three other cases in which white strips and razor blades were stolen from Giant supermarkets in the area.
