Tale of Two Bridges

Does anyone know what the deal is on the 2 bridges on High St.? When will this be resolved? Will it be resolved? It seems thats its been at least 5 years since i was able to cross the creek with my car. If that bridge would be open to traffic there would be less of a mess on Main St.
