SVSD Raising Taxes?
Well, it's appears that it's an option on the table. According to the article, a house assessed at $100,000 would see an increase in school taxes of $81.
According to the article, "Fellin and district business manager David Bonenberger said the main drivers creating the shortfall are a 16 percent to 21 percent rise in retirement funding, about 16 percent more in cyber and charter school funding, a more than 16 percent hike in workmen's compensation claims and a weak rise in assessed real estate values."
