Maria Kazakia Art Exhibit at the Heller Homestead
The exhibit runs Saturday, Saturday, March 1 through Sunday, April 13, 2014. The event is free and open to the public. The Heller Homestead Art Gallery is located at the historic Heller Homestead, 1890 – 92 Friedensville Road (Water Street) in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County.

Artist Maria Kazakia was born in Istanbul, Turkey and educated in Greece and England. She holds a Masters Degree in Solid State Physics and has had a career in Semiconductor Research & Development with ITT, RCA and Motorola. She has studied art in England, Scottsdale School of Art in Arizona, Lehigh University and the Barnstone Studio. Subjects for her paintings are drawn from nature, religion, and the Greek landscape.

The Heller Homestead Art Gallery and the Antiques and Collectibles, a charming gift and consignment shop, operated by volunteers, are free and open to the public on most weekends & during special events during March 1 to December 14, 2014. We are closed most holiday weekends. Saturdays and Sundays hours: 1 pm to 4 pm (Sundays, 12 to 3 pm, May - November) Proceeds benefit the Saucon Valley Conservancy, Inc.
Due to an unexpected circumstance, the Art Gallery and Gift Shop may be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience. Tours of the Heller Homestead Museum “A Journey through Time” are available by appointment (donations greatly appreciated).

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Michael Heller Homestead is nestled along the western banks of the beautiful Saucon Creek at 1890 - 92 Friedensville Road, (Water Street), in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. It is approximately one half mile west of Route 412 and Water Street in Hellertown just off the Saucon Rail Trail. Turn west on Water Street, which becomes Friedensville Road in Lower Saucon Township. Go across the Water Street Bridge. The Heller Homestead is on the left adjacent to the Saucon Creek and opposite Creek Road. Parking is available on site and at the nearby Water Street Park.
