Stewart W. Yeakel Jr., 57, of Hellertown, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill.
Stewart W. Yeakel Jr., 57, of Hellertown, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Barbara D. (Schantz) Yeakel. He was born in Quakertown on Oct. 19, 1956 to Elsie M. (Strawn) Yeakel of Steel City and the late Stewart W. Sr. Stewart was a production manager at Surefit, Upper Macungie Township for 35 years. He was a member of St. Luke's Old Williams Lutheran Church.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife of 35 years and mother; children: Kristy L. Breig, Kyle E., both of Hellertown; Melissa S. Wetzel of New Wilmington; siblings: Brenda L. Pfeiffer of Hellertown, Susan M. of Bethlehem, Brian W. of Hellertown; grandchildren: Tyler and Kayla Yeakel; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
