Thomas A. Scholl, 27, of Hellertown, died Nov. 15, 2012.

Thomas A. Scholl, 27, of Hellertown died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. He was born in Fountain Hill on Feb. 14, 1985, to Dennis J. Scholl of Hellertown and Kathleen M. (Golla) Antonelli of Hellertown. Tom was a cook at Silver Creek Country Club and various other restaurants. He was a member of , D&L Trail Tenders, Delaware River Shad Fisherman's Association, and assisted in raising butterflies for Monarchs Alive. Tom was a recipient of a Student Ecologist Award from Wildlife Information Center, Slatington, in 2003. He created a public education site along Saucon Creek in Hellertown. Tom graduated from Saucon Valley High School in 2003. He also attended Northampton Community College. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, camping and outdoor preservation.

In addition to his loving parents; stepmother: Josephine D. (D'Angelo) Scholl of Hellertown and stepfather: John Antonelli Jr. of Hellertown; brother: Michael P. Scholl of Philadelphia; stepsister: Angelique Antonelli of Hellertown; stepbrothers: John Antonelli III of Berwick, Justin J. Antonelli, stationed in Afghanistan; stepgrandparents: Connie (Kuritz) and Mario D'Angelo of Bethlehem.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30pm Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown and from 10 to 11am Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main St., Hellertown. The Tuesday calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
